We are a large, internationally active patent law firm having its head office in Basel and a branch in Buchs/SG. We are looking for a

Patent attorney

with a university degree in chemistry and an authorization to act before the European Patent Office, as a successor to a retiring European and Swiss Patent Attorney. The position will commence during the first quarter of 2026.

The varied responsibilities include, among other things, advising our domestic and international clients, drafting and prosecuting patent applications, handling oppositions and appeals, as well as managing patent disputes.
